Since I remembered that I have a blog, here are my predictions for the 2012-13 NBA season. Last year's predictions were pretty accurate. kthxbye.
Rookie of the Year: Damien Lillard - Looks really good so far. Has the starting spot locked up.
Dark Horse: Anthony Davis - This should be a no brainer. He'll have competition, but
really no other rookie should see more minutes than the unibrow. That said, New Orleans is weird.
MVP: Lebron James - He's the best player.
Dark Horse: No one on the Lakers roster should be allowed. If Lebron wasn't so dominant, he shouldn't be allowed and I don't think KD should even be allowed. I'm going to go crazy here and say Chris Paul or James Harden.
Coach of the Year: Hopefully, George Karl. Never won, deserved it many times.
Dark Horse: Tyrone Corbin. Corbin's Jazz could win 50 if they play to their potential. Terry Stotts is another hopeful.
Sixth Man: Jamal Crawford. Can break your ankles by just looking at you.
Dark Horse: JR Smith. Crazy offensively.
Defensive Player of the Year: Ibaka - He's not a very good overall defender, but the voters love blocks and he's the best.
Dark Horse: Josh Smith - He's a good perimeter defender, gets blocks, gets steals. Chandler. Howard.
NBA Champion: Heat over Thunder 4-3
